With WaterPro drawing us to Colorado, it only made sense that the Fontus team seized the opportunity to take on a whirlwind tour of water utilities in the greater Denver area. We made the most of our trip, visiting the beautiful mountain landscape of Loveland, hanging out with the team in Golden, and having a noteworthy visit to our first Colorado client, Louisville! 🤠
Instead of virtually studying plant schematics and meeting online, we were able to walk through these water treatment plants, meet the folks in their day-to-day environment, and physically watch each step of the water treatment process. The dedication, passion, and commitment - it's all there right in front of you. It was not just about treating water; it was about ensuring that every drop delivered to the community met the highest standards of purity and safety.
Engaging with the staff was like attending a masterclass in water treatment and community service. Their depth of knowledge, combined with their willingness to share, was truly remarkable. Each conversation was filled with insights, anecdotes from years of experience, and practical wisdom.
One of the most striking aspects of our visits was witnessing the innovative solutions and technologies these utilities have adopted. It is clear that these utilities are not only reacting to challenges but proactively seeking out and implementing the best solutions available. This forward-thinking approach ensures they not only meet today's standards, but are also prepared for the future challenges of the water industry.
To the teams at each of these utilities: A big thank you! For sharing, for teaching, and for being the unsung heroes in the water industry. Your work is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated. If there's one takeaway, it is that you should take the time to connect with your local water utility. Tour their plant and gain insights into the efforts behind the water journey to your home. And while you're at it, a word of gratitude for their relentless service would make their day. After all, appreciation of the water industry is often long overdue.
